For nearly a decade, Lekhraj has been a regular visitor to Nishkam Library. Coming from a modest family in Delhi, his father works as a DTC Bus Driver, and his mother serves as a Peon at Kerala Public School. Like many students living in small homes, he faced a common challenge—finding a quiet place to study.
When Lekhraj joined Nishkam Library as a Class 10 student, he found more than just a reading room. He found a peaceful environment where he could concentrate, learn, and dream beyond his circumstances. Over the years, the library became his second home, providing affordable access to books ranging from school education to professional and competitive examinations.
With determination and consistent effort, Lekhraj pursued Chartered Accountancy and completed his Articleship with S. S. Kothari Mehta & Co. from 2022 to 2025. Today, as he embarks on his career as a Chartered Accountant, he reflects with gratitude on the role Nishkam Library played in his journey.
