Process Engineer (Kangaro Industries Ltd., Ludhiana-Punjab)
Rishabh Jindal is born to a lower-middle-class family. His father was the Factory worker in a Hosiery firm at Ludhiana. Young Rishabh was on the verge of completion of his engineering course when he lost him due to cardiac arrest. His father’s health was a major concern for the financial setback of his family. They lost their savings on his treatment and due to his unexpected hospitalization expenses for almost 12 years, young Rishabh’s studies got affected. His critical illness leaves a mighty hole in their savings. The family somehow managed the routine household expenses but had to take the loan for Rishabh’s education. Rishabh started looking for scholarship opportunities on the internet and came to know about the scholarships being given through Nishkam Sikh Welfare Council. He followed the process and got the scholarships. This help supported the family’s hopes in building his career and he completed his engineering course. He got campus placement as Graduate Apprentice Trainee in Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Swaraj Division), Mohali thereafter he worked for Sonalika Tractors as an Engineer in Hoshiarpur and at present, he is working with Kangaro Industries (Ludhiana) - an iconic stationery brand in India as a Process Engineer. Being the youngest of his family member he remains the sole breadwinner of the family at present. After the demise of his father in 2016, he lost his elder brother too in 2018. The death of his brother is unbearable, and it is easy for anyone to fall apart on consecutively losing blood relations in one’s immediate family. Nishkam prays Almighty give him strength with positivity and good health to continue a peaceful life ahead!
