SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Sikh Human Development Foundation Inc., U.S.A. (S.H.D.F.) Scholarships

This program aims at supporting brilliant undergraduate students, who maintain model conduct and aspire to achieve excellent results. Under this Program, scholarships up to Rs. 18000 per annum are granted to students (passing 10th/12th with at least 50% marks), going for professional courses, depending on their needs, aspirations and the courses to be pursued by them. This program is already

| being implemented in Northern part of India i.e. the State of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Jammu & Kashmir and Chandigarh besides Delhi. |
In last 5 years “Sikh Human Development Foundation, U.S.A.” has been kind to grant scholarships amounting to Rs. 30.49 lakhs as 245 scholarships to 166 students (including those affected due to earthquake in Gujarat) doing professional courses. The process for granting 100 scholarships during the current year is already on. |

Donations to this project eligible for 100% exemption for donors in India.
* Registered with Government of India for receiving donations in foreign currency from abroad.
* Registered with Government of India for receiving donations in kind under the Indo-US/UK/Swiss/German/Swedish Agreements.
* Registered under Section 12A(a) of Income Tax Act, 1961. Donations eligible for exemption under section 80-G in India. |
