Master Harbans Singh Memorial Scholarship
Program
Master Harbans Singh was a dedicated Sewadar of Nishkam, who came in the Nishkam’s fold in the most difficult times of 1984-1985. He was a teacher by profession and rendered his valuable and dedicated services up to November, 1993, when while coming back from Amritsar, after completing a sewa mission, he met with an accident and departed from this world along with his wife. In recognition of his dedicated Nishkam Sewa, this scholarship program was instituted under which scholarships of Rs. 200 to Rs. 300 per month are |

granted to students of class 11th and 12th with the help of our esteemed donors who institute scholarship in sweet memory of their dear ones by making one time lump-sum donation
equivalent to amount of Scholarship proposed to be given multiplied by *180 during last 3 years Nishkam has granted 172
Scholarships amounting to Rs. 3.28 lacs. The process for granting scholarships during the current year is already on. |


Scholarships to students of Madurai Kamraj University
Under this program Scholarships of Rs. 3000/- per annum are granted to the students doing Post Graduate Diploma in Sikhism and Comparative Religion, in Madurai Kamraj University under the auspices of Guru Nanak Dev Chair. So far 59 students have been granted scholarships under this program. |
